Had a wonderful time last night dancing at the Winter Hafla. I danced to the song ‘Vanguard’ of my husbands latest CD: SUNCARAVAN. I also got to wear my new costume that I made. Glad it is finally ready to be danced in. Big Thanks to Karl Ulrich and Josh Edwards for the photos.

Down East Fest

This weekend is the 3rd Annual Down East Bellydance and Drum Fest in New Bern. I am so excited. The whole weekend is filled with workshops, music, dancing, and fun! I will be performing at the Friday night hafla to a brand new song by Afrit Temple and performing on Saturday live with the fabulous musicians!!

{Festival of Legends}

The Festival of Legends is a family-friendly event that will host a variety of different entertainers (musicians, magicians, jugglers, acrobats, comedians, etc.) and artists selling their wares. Themes of the event include mythology, folklore, fairy tales and fantasy. The event is open to the public with paid admission (ticket prices will be between $11 and $15). This will be my first year officially performing and not just dancing in the grass. I am excited to be performing with The Lost Nomads. We will be at the main stage both Saturday and Sunday at 10:45am and 4:15 pm

This was my 2nd year performing at the Annual Fundraiser. We always have such fun at the Country Squire Inn. I danced a Sword Dance to Afrit Temples newest song ‘Axion’ and also live improv with all the wonderful musicians.
