It came with a black chiffon skirt sewn directly into the belt. I hardly ever wear it because I am not fond of the color combo. So, I ripped out the black chiffon and bought some pretty fabrics on sale at Joann’s for $30!! What a deal! I am going to make circle/ panel skirts. The base will be the satin/taffeta with the lace overlay. It changes the whole look of the costume. I am so excited!!

I have made quite a bit of progress on my coin costume. I finally got the rest of the gold coins drilled so that I can finish this up…hopefully in time for the ACCMED show in August. I am procrastinating on making the big filigree pendents w/ mirrors….still trying to figure that out. I have all the chain..and danglies ready to go…I still have a couple to add to the bra cup…and to finish up the front of the belt. If I have enough coins I will add them to the sides of the bra and straps too.
