It was alot of fun. We all met at Babylon in Downtown Raleigh. There was also a Flamenco dancer and some wonderful musicians playing Spanish Guitar. There were others there representing their countries and culture. Afterwards we took a couple photos outside. This will be my 4th year performing at the International Festival and it is always so much fun. I will be at the Dance Demo stage on Saturday from 1-2 pm and Sunday from 12:30-1 giving Bellydance demos. I will also be do a shimmy contest again this year and the winner gets a coinscarf!!! Lost Nomads will be performing some live Middle Eastern Music from 3-4 pm on Saturday so stick around for that too!!

It is a wonderful Moroccan Restaurant with gorgeous brick interior and a private room with a DJ booth. A huge outdoor seating area with a lighted ‘pool’. The ambiance and decor is gorgeous and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone was just getting served dinner when I arrived and I did my show, sword dance, drum solo, ect, birthday song and then got about 8 brave souls up to join me to dance. Everyone was very welcoming and having fun. What a fun crowd and a great place to have a party!! Love Babylon!!
