It was HOT, HUMID, and CROWDED!!! Very supportive audience which always makes it more fun :)
I have been collaborating with my husband, Andrew, who is a musician with the local band the Lost Nomads. We have been working hard to come up with some different stuff and last night we finally performed together. He played the Hurdy Gurdy and used his drum machine to add a different sound. Lots of fun.

We filmed this at Topsail Beach last month. Definitely a challenge filming at sunset and on the dunes, but we had alot of fun. It was very hot, sunny, windy, and sand burs in our feet. LOL. I am so excited to be traveling down to Rock Hill, SC again for another fabulous night of dancing and music. I love the dancers in the area, so supportive and welcoming. There will be some awesome live music! These are some of the best Middle Eastern musicians in NC!! Love them.

We walked forever down the beach (with all our stuff) to get to the secluded spot by the sand dunes. I photographed Andy first, we shot video, he photographed me, shot video, then our daughter took photos of us together. We started around 7 and were done by 8 with minutes to spare to see the sunset. The photos are outstanding even though I took them in my costume stepping on sand burrs, it was hot, sun blaring, sunburn, wind, ect.

Here they are…I am in love with them **heart**

I danced to one of my husbands newest songs ‘Summer” off his CD Suncaravan. (It was so hot, it sure felt like Summer) LOL. I did a mostly improv double Isis Wings dance. I definitely plan to choreograph this one and do a nice music video :)
