Shimmy Sunday School with Shahzaadee- June 22, 2008 Shahzaadee taught us a fun and upbeat cane choreography to a folk-style dance done to Saiidi rhythm.

Yummy Combos with Hannan- June 21, 2008 Hannan taught us intermediate level combinations with alot of layering.

Yasmine- January 26, 2008 Yasmine taught an intermediate/advanced workshop focusing on a Zill Choreography and a drum solo.

Shahzaadee- January 13, 2008 Colorful Waves Shimmy Sunday school with Fanveilz. We learned alot of moves, poses and spins all for use with fanveils. We also learned a couple of moves and turns for regular veil. **Photo of the beautiful Shahzaadee!

Amara al Amir- December 2, 2007 Intensive Veil (A-Z). We learned combos, turns, how to drape the veil, and hand movements. We learned a short choreography.

Amara al Amir- November 18, 2007 Intensive Sword (A-Z). She taught us poses, turns, and balancing moves with the sword. We learned part of a choreography to Raks Africa.

Aziza Nawal- October 14, 2007 Colorful Waves Shimmy Sunday school with Aziza Nawal. She taught an advanced Egyptian Orientale choreography.

Blue Moon's Sword Workshop- June 23, 2007 Blue Moon Dance Company taught an introduction to swords workshop. We learned about different types of swords, music styles, presenting/holding moves as well as balancing techniques, moves, and combinations.

Blue Moon's Upper Body Technique Intensive- March 17, 2007 This workshop focused on upper body moves including: hands, arms, shoulder shimmies, chest isolations and rotations and many more.

Dondi- March 3, 2007 Belly Revelations hosted Shimmy South 8 featuring Dondi. She taught a wonderful Egyptian Choreography to Oum Kulsoum's Ana Fe Inti Zarak.

Artemis- Nov, 2006 Belly Revelations hosted The 5th anniversary hafla for NCBellydance.org which featured Artemis Mourat. She taught a workshop that day focusing on Turkish Romany style as well as some Turkish Orientale.

Saqra- Feb 25, 2006 Belly Revelations hosted Shimmy South 7 featuring Saqra. She taught us how to listen to rhythms and how they are important in your dance. We learned a short Chiftitelli choreography as well as some combinations. photo taken by Najila

Aziza- Feb 25, 2005 Belly Revelations hosted Shimmy South 6 featuring Aziza. I learned so much at this workshop. I was also 5 months pregnant which made it a bit harder to keep up. Aziza taught us a whole drum solo choreography as well as many traveling steps and combinations.
