We had a blast this past weekend at Festival of Legends. We set up on Friday morning, the weather was perfect. By Saturday, the clouds and rain moved it. It rained ALL day. Seriously!! and it was chilly too. We performed on the Main Stage in the morning and the Fable Pavilion in the afternoon. (Def. harder dancing on the uneven wet ground). It continued to rain into Sunday morning, which was even colder, about 47 degrees. The stage was pretty slippery and wet Sunday morning but I managed to dance and do my sword dance without any mishaps so I could enjoy with my juicyj_peachy virtual girlfriend online. We had alot of fun and can’t wait until next year!!

What a way to start the weekend. I had to get up early (6 am) to get ready in time for an 8 am shoot at Duke Gardens in Durham. So many beautiful spots, we had a great time.

We traveled to Rock Hill, SC this weekend for a Spring hafla. What a great time! This was my first time performing down with all the Charlotte, NC area dancers and it was so much fun. Very supportive, friendly, and welcoming group. The best musicians ever played for us all night. Here are a couple pics my daughter took of my sword dance

Less than 2 weeks left until Festival of Legends and cannot wait. We will have double the space this year to allow some wonderful Musicians ‘The Middle East Coast Tribe’ to hang out with us and have a place to jam out when they are not performing. We will have guest musicians from Charlotte and Wilmington and it is going to be great!! Here are some pics from last years event!

We had a HUGE turnout this month. What a fabulous night. Several photographers were there taking photos and am so thankful they captured the moments beautifully!

Bellydancing and Beer coming up next Tuesday night at Fullsteam Brewery: 8-10 pm

Marched in the parade this year with Festival of Legends. Found my photos on WRAL

One more song before I relax this weekend. I loved the melody on this one. Got this melody of of Looperman. Have faced some challenges over the last year and have learned that when you are confronted you have to stand up for yourself even if noone is there to support you. Never be bullied into silence.
