Here is my solo video from the Eno Festival. I did improv to a “Flamenco Mix”. The song was “Como Tu” by Alabina and the Gypsy Kings. We had a great time, very hot and humid, but still fun times! More videos coming soon!

Troy Mezze Lounge and Turkish Restaurant
Thursday, July 7th starting at 7 pm
is the opening of Troy Mezze Lounge and Restaurant in City Market in Raleigh, the most authentic Turkish restaurant in the Triangle! Another year at the Festival for the Eno and it was a another hot one! I was invited to dance with Moorish Gypsy again this year and I also did a solo. It was alot of fun!!
Thinking about starting up classes again this Fall, stayed tuned for more details. Most likely will be Tuesday evenings around 7:30. These will not be beginner classes and geared towards students who already have knowledge and can execute basic movements. Will be working on choreographies to perform at local events.
I celebrated my birthday weekend doing a 40th bday performance Saturday night. It was a total blast! Even got the ladies and some guys up to dance with me at the end. I even got to try some of the best Indian Food ever.
Another Bellydance RAQS and I really think this one was one of the BEST EVER !! Really! All the performers and costumes and music was great! We even had tons of fun during the after party dancing! Thanks to everyone who came out to support our show and make it a success. We have a wonderful dance community and we could not have done it with you! You ALL ROCK!

I did a surprise birthday performance this afternoon for a 60th birthday celebration. It was one of the best surprises I have ever pulled off and so much fun! I arrived this afternoon at Diamonds Direct, Crabtree as customer “Amara Brown” and met with one of their sales reps, Raj . I was there looking for ‘engagement rings’ (wink) We spoke briefly and he asked me what styles I like and offered to show me around the showroom. Que the music….when he asked me “What do I like? ” I said I like to DANCE!! and SURPRISE!!
